Shri Krishna Janmashtami Celebration

Janamashtami is the birth of Lord Krishna, the eighth avatar of Lord Vishnu. He was born in Mathura . His birthday was celebrated at G.D.Goenka Global School Hisar in a special way . There was an arti performed. An idol of Lord krishna in the form of 'Lalji' was made to sit on a swing and made an offering. At last the Goenkans performed the breaking of the handi but in a unique manner. It was a fun way of celebrating Lord Krishna birthday. Our Goenkan students enjoyed the whole ritual in a traditional way.
